We all started life as a baby and we were very good back then at looking after our needs - we had to be to ensure we survived - as we were fully dependent on others to meet those needs. As soon as we became hungry, thirsty, tired, windy, uncomfortable or when we needed a cuddle we cried to let people know. Because that was our way of telling our parents, or those who looked after us, what we needed. Fast forward to now when we are fully grown adults...

I know that you wake up everyday feeling tired, heavy and like you have slept on a bed of rocks, and that when you step into the bathroom, you look in the mirror and barely recognise the woman you see staring back at you, you are sure you can see new lines that have arrived overnight, and the bumper size bags under your eyes. Your body shape has changed from the way it used to be, you have lumps, bumps, and stretch marks in places that you would rather no one...
